For all my Dutch readers, I’ve got good and excited news!! Douglas is going to stock the brand Origins in their assortment! I am so excited! I have been looking for Origins Spot Remover but I never found it in the Netherlands. Buying online would be expensive.

Origins products are used with active plants, 100% natural essential oils and certified organic ingredients. They use the highest quality, active and renewable plants, earth and sea substances. They sell skincare, cosmetics and bath&body products.

I am so happy that they stock Origins products! The first Douglas stores that will launch Origins on 18 January is in Maastricht, Den Haag, Rotterdam Lijnbaan, Groningen and the online webshop of Douglas. I am so excited, can’t wait to try out some Origins products :D

I just received the newsletter of Lush by post and I want to try a lot of products of Lush after reading it!

I’ve been really curious about Lush and the soaps! These are made so pretty and colourful!

I always found Lush products kind of pricey, but I will give it a try. Most of the products are still made with organic ingredients, green and they are against animal testing. All the products are also handmade.

Which one have you tried before? What would you recommend to me? Or which one do you want to try out?

Second time trying to make waves with my new Remington straighter that I just showed it in my haul post few days ago. Is this right? Does it looks good? I thought it would be easy, but I was wrong! I think I need to practise a lot more for this hairstyle.. It’s quite difficult by turning and turning-back the straightener. But it doesn’t take a long time to style it. I do think that this hairstyle looks better than my straight hair. It gives a lot more volume which I really like. Maybe I want to have a wave permanent like this. My straight hair is so boring.. Any ways, I will use the straightener a few more times, before writing a review :)

Neutrogena Deep Clean eye & lip makeup remover

oil-free - 112ML

dual-phase 100% oil-free liquid activated when shaken to gently whisk away eye & lip makeup including waterproof mascara, without any tugging, pulling or stinging. Your skin is feeling clean and fresh with no oily residue. Aloe and Cucumber extracts soothe skin.

Directions

Shake well. Apply with cotton pad on closed eyelids and lip. Gently rinse with warm water.

My opinion

This makeup remover does what it says: it can remove all of my eye makeup easily, even my hard-to-remove waterproof mascara. I simply follow the directions. By shaking the bottle, the two liquids will blend together and it will also get a little bit foamy. Apply with a cotton pad on a closed eyelids. After waiting for few second I can just remove all the make up gently. It doesn’t leave me a greasy feeling at all, but my skin around my eyes feels fresh and clean like the packaging described. After removing the makeup I directly go wash my face. The makeup remover is also fragrance free and I don’t get any irritations. Compared to the Nivea waterproof makeup remover, this one is really really good! The sturdy hard plastic packaging and the size is very good for travel.

But the conclusion is that the makeup remover is really good! Just love the way that the product removes my waterproof mascara so easily.

Laneige Star White Treatment Mask
Purifiying & luminous whitening skin with S.T.A.R. White Complex
for all skin types

Highly concentrated whitening Sheet providing an intensive and rapid effect.

It is a high-concentration whitening mask containing effective whitening ingredients equal to a bottle of essence (25ml).

Directions:
- Arrange face with a toner after wash.
- Open one sachet, take out two sheets an spread a folded part.
- Respectively put each sheet on upper and lower part of face along the face line.
- Remove the sheets after about ten to fifteen minutes and pat the face for remains to be absorbed.
- Apply two or three times a week.

Originally the Laneige Star White line was my face routine a while ago. I really really liked it. And so  do I like this treatment mask of the Star White line. It does a really good job in every aspect: brightening, makes skin tone more even, hydration, makes skin soft and makes my skin really relaxed when I’m stressed. The sheet is a more firmer sheet. It is not very flexible compared to the My Beauty Diary and I have a feeling that the sheet wants slide down my face when I’m sitting up. Also another point is that I have to cut the sheet by the sides of the nose to fit it perfectly (see picture where I cut by the dotted line).

- need to cut the sheet for a perfect fit

Also I want to mention that the Star White line was unfortunately discontinued for a while now. But you can still find the sheet mask on Ebay, Yesstyle or maybe other online Asian skincare web shops.

Overall: I really like this mask! It does a perfect job in every aspect for my face. 5/5
